🔄 Exchanges & Returns

At Kaoâ we want you to be satisfied with your purchase. However, if it does not meet your expectations, you may return the items within 14 days after receipt, provided they meet the following conditions:

They must not have been worn or washed;
They must retain all original tags and characteristics (including security tag, if applicable);
They must be complete, including all accessories or elements included with the order;
They must be sent in appropriate packaging (see below).

How to Proceed

To start a return you must:

Request the return in your Kaoâ Customer Area, through your order.
Also send an email to returns@kaoaofficial.com indicating:
- Order number
- Items you wish to return

Submitting the request through the customer area allows us to validate the request and ensure the correct follow-up of the process.

The return shipping cost is borne by the customer.

🚚 Carrier for Returns

For security reasons, international traceability and formal delivery validation, all returns and exchanges related to orders shipped by DHL must also be sent via DHL.

Using the same carrier ensures:

Correct identification of the shipment as a return;
Proper traceability;
Formal proof of delivery;
Reduced risk of improper customs charges.

Only returns with proper tracking and formal proof of delivery will be accepted.

⚠️ Kaoâ is not responsible for loss, delays, additional customs charges or costs resulting from the use of carriers other than the one used in the original shipment.

For returns originating outside the European Union, the use of DHL is mandatory.

If the return is sent by a different carrier and results in additional costs, delays or absence of formal proof of delivery, Kaoâ reserves the right to:

Suspend the refund process until the situation is resolved;
Deduct any incurred charges from the refund amount.

If the return is not related to a defect or non-conformity:

The original shipping costs will not be refunded;
Any customs duties paid will also not be refunded.

International Returns & Customs

For returns sent from outside the European Union, the customer must:

Declare the shipment as “Return of Goods”;
Indicate the purchase value and attach the original invoice;
Mark in the documentation that it is a return.

⚠️ If this procedure is not followed and customs charges are applied to Kaoâ, those costs will be deducted from the refund amount.

Proper Packaging

To ensure returned items arrive in perfect condition, it is essential to package them correctly:

Whenever possible, reuse the original order box;
Avoid thin paper bags or plastic bags that do not properly protect the items;
Use a sturdy box or envelope, folding the pieces carefully.

⚠️ Kaoâ reserves the right to apply a proportional reduction in the refund value for items damaged due to inadequate packaging.

Refunds & Vouchers

After receiving and verifying the items, the refund will be processed within a maximum of 15 business days, using the same payment method as the purchase.

In case of exchange, the refund may be issued in the form of a voucher valid for 12 months.

Items purchased with a voucher and returned will always be refunded in the form of a new voucher.

Damaged or Defective Items

If you receive an item with a manufacturing defect or that is not compliant, Kaoâ will arrange collection at an address of your choice (provided it is in the original shipping country, excluding islands).

In these cases, all transport costs are covered by us.

Important Note

Customized pieces or items made upon special request are not eligible for return or exchange.

Failure to claim the order or refusal to pay customs duties at destination does not entitle the customer to a refund.
