🔄 Exchanges & Returns

At Kaoâ, we want you to be satisfied with your purchase. However, if it does not meet your expectations, you may return the items within 14 days of receipt, provided they meet the following conditions:

They have not been worn or washed;
They retain all original tags and features (including the security tag, if applicable);
They are complete, including all accessories or elements that accompanied the order;
They are sent in appropriate packaging (see below).

How to Proceed

Request the return via e-mail at returns@kaoaofficial.com, indicating the order number and the items to be returned.

The return shipping cost is borne by the customer.

🚚 Carrier for Returns

For security reasons, international traceability and formal proof of delivery validation, all returns and exchanges related to orders shipped via DHL must also be sent through DHL.

Using the same carrier ensures:

Correct identification of the shipment as a return;
Proper traceability;
Formal proof of delivery;
Reduced risk of undue customs charges.

Only returns properly tracked and with formal proof of delivery will be accepted.

⚠️ Kaoâ is not responsible for losses, delays, additional customs fees or costs resulting from the use of carriers other than the one used for the original shipment.

For returns originating outside the European Union, the use of DHL is mandatory.

If the return is sent by a different carrier and results in additional costs, delays or lack of formal proof of delivery, Kaoâ reserves the right to:

Suspend the refund process until the situation is regularized;
Deduct any incurred charges from the refund amount.

If the return is not related to a defect or non-conformity:

The initial shipping costs will not be refunded;
Any customs fees paid will also not be refunded.

International Returns & Customs

For returns sent from outside the European Union, the customer must:

Declare the shipment as “Return of Goods”;
Indicate the purchase value and attach the original invoice;
State in the documentation that it is a return.

⚠️ If this procedure is not followed and customs duties are charged to Kaoâ, these costs will be deducted from the refund amount.

Proper Packaging

To ensure returned items arrive in perfect condition, it is essential to pack them correctly:

Whenever possible, reuse the original order box;
Avoid thin paper bags or plastic bags that do not provide proper protection;
Use a sturdy box or envelope, folding the garments carefully.

⚠️ Kaoâ reserves the right to apply a proportional reduction to the refund amount for items damaged due to inadequate packaging.

Refunds & Vouchers

After receipt and inspection of the items, the refund will be processed within a maximum of 15 business days, using the same payment method as the original purchase.

In case of exchange, the refund may be issued in the form of a voucher valid for 12 months.

Items purchased with a voucher and returned will always be refunded in the form of a new voucher.

Damaged or Defective Items

If you receive a defective or non-compliant item, Kaoâ will arrange collection from an address of your choice (within the original shipping country, excluding islands).

In such cases, all transport costs will be borne by us.

Important Note

Personalized items or items made to special order are not eligible for return or exchange.

Failure to claim the order or refusal to pay customs duties at destination does not entitle the customer to a refund.
